Assaying Molybdenite Concentrates

Assaying Molybdenite Concentrates
2023 update of the 2003 original

This Procedure for Assaying Molybdenite Concentrates is the 2023 update of the 2003 original.   Whilst the core of the document remains unchanged, i.e. the gravimetric methodology, the new edition specifically acknowledges that nowadays X-ray fluorescence (XRF) is also a well-established, equally acceptable assaying method used to identify and quantify the chemical composition of mineral concentrates.

Further detail about the XRF methodology is available here, in slide-deck format.
