Turkiye-REACH

KKDIK, which is the Turkish ‘Act on the Registration and Evaluation of Chemicals’, is also known as Turkiye-REACH.  It is the Turkish Ministry of Environmental and Urbanization (MoEU) Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals, published on 23 June 2017.   Turkiye-REACH requires all companies manufacturing chemical substances in Turkey, or importing them in quantities over one tonne per year, to register these substances with the MoEU by the regulatory compliance date of 31 December 2023, irrespective of tonnage band.
